How much does it cost to work with WealthBound?

Our Wealth Map engagement is a flat $3,500 fee for a comprehensive 60–90 day planning process. For our Wealth Guide ongoing advisory relationship, we charge a monthly retainer based on complexity—not assets under management. We'll discuss pricing transparently during our intro call.

Do you offer asset management?

Asset management is an optional add-on for clients who want investment management as part of their planning relationship. We offer a straightforward, tiered fee structure: 0.65% for the first $1M, 0.50% for $1M–$3M, and 0.35% for assets above $3M. See our How We Help page for the full AUM fee table.

Do you receive commissions or sell products?

Accepted Answer

No. We're a fee-only fiduciary. We don't sell insurance, annuities, or investment products. We don't receive commissions or referral fees. You pay us directly for advice—that's it.

What forms of payment do you accept?

Accepted Answer

We accept ACH transfers, checks, and credit cards. For the Wealth Map, payment is due at the start of the engagement. Wealth Guide retainers are billed monthly.

How do I know if I'm a good fit?

We work best with high-income professionals dealing with real complexity—equity compensation, multiple income streams, business ownership, or real estate investments. If your situation is straightforward, we'll tell you. A 30-minute intro call is the best way to find out.

What happens during the intro call?

We'll spend 30 minutes understanding your situation, what's keeping you up at night financially, and what you're hoping to accomplish. If there's a fit, we'll explain which engagement makes sense and what the process looks like. No pressure, no sales pitch.

How quickly can we get started?

Once we've had an intro call and agreed to work together, we can typically begin within 1–2 weeks. The Wealth Map takes 60–90 days from kickoff to completion.

What do I need to prepare before we start?

Not much for the intro call—just come ready to talk about your situation. If we move forward, we'll send you a secure document request with everything we need: tax returns, investment statements, equity grants, insurance policies, etc.

What's the difference between the Wealth Map and the Wealth Guide?

The Wealth Map is a one-time, 60–90 day engagement focused on building a clear financial strategy from the ground up. The Wealth Guide is a monthly retainer for people whose complexity doesn't pause—continuous tax optimization, equity decisions, and coordination as life evolves.

Do you manage investments?

Accepted Answer

We can, but it's not our focus. Our value is in the planning and coordination—tax strategy, equity compensation, real estate decisions, retirement timing. If you need investment management, we can discuss whether it makes sense to include or keep separate.

Will you work with my CPA and attorney?

Accepted Answer

Absolutely. Coordination is a core part of what we do. We'll communicate directly with your other advisors to make sure everyone is aligned and nothing falls through the cracks.

Do you help with estate planning?

Accepted Answer

We help with estate planning strategy—how to structure ownership, what documents you need, tax-efficient wealth transfer. We don't draft legal documents, but we work closely with estate attorneys to make sure the plan gets implemented correctly.

Can you help if I live outside Arizona?

Yes. We're registered in Arizona, Texas, and California, and can work with clients in other states where permitted. All of our planning work is done virtually—video calls, secure document sharing, and screen shares as needed.
